"Goddamn artists. Koz and his art. That class Koz gave on dramatic tension, he'd begun by saying "Here's are the two crucial rules for creating suspense. It's all you need to know. First, don't tell everything at once." Then he interrupted himselfja d talked about something else entirely, while everyone waited for number two. It took awhile to get the joke, and then that it wasn't a joke but a demonstration.
Was there a number two, Koz?" -from The Cameraman.
A great story where the protangonist tries to figure out if he is in charge of his life or are other's "pulling his strings." The plot reminds me a lot of Don Delillo's writing where he questions the realities of groups of people.
